Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2000

ChapeCs The chapel ministry on the Florida campus takes a four-fold approach. Each normal Bible Institue week in cludes the following: 1. Presidential Chapel: Each Wenesday, the staff and students meet for chapel. Usually, Joe Jordan or George Theis speak and occasionally Chuck Scheide or Tom Phillips fill in. 2. Guest ChapehArea pastors whose beliefs mirror those of Word of Life present their ministries, inform the students as to the ministry of the local church, and chal lenge them to serve in the church not only now, but in their post-Bible Institute days.

Word of Life Missionaries also come to speak and present the opportunities/challenges of serving Christ all over the world. 3. Deans Chapel: The men and women of the student body meet with their respective deans for instruction, information, and mentoring. 4. Ministry Chapel: Usually held on Friday, the students are prepared for the weekend ministries. The chapels have been designed to be far more than an academic exercises. The “warming” of ones’s heart for ministry is vital. In that goal, our chapels find their purpose.
