The class of 2000 arrived at Word of Life apprehensive ibout the future. For many, it was their first time away rom home. Questions swirled through their minds: What dnd of roommates will I have? Will the classes be hard? What am I here for? What am I going to do with my life? it’s wonderful to know that, in the midst of all our worries, God knows what He is doing. The Master Potter, He brought each student here to begin, or continue, the

shaping process in their lives. Ministries, classes, work- assignments, and time spent with friends were all includ ed in His design. Through them He was smoothing out the rough spots and beginning to form them into vessels Fit for His service. For the rest of their lives, the students of the First year class will show evidence of the work God has done in them this year: the gentle fingerprints of the Savior upon their hearts. — Christine Berwick
