Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 2000

Men’s Bask It’s amazing how a little round ball can be used by God as an awesome avenue to open doors for ministry oppor tunities. While being both physically and spiritually chal lenged, these young Word of Life Bible Institute men have proven themselves successful both on and off the court. They were a competitive team while at the same time maintained their composure and Christ-like atti tude. God gave the team many chances to share tes timonies and the gospel with players and fans alike. Some

came to know Christ through this exciting ministry, and many seeds were planted and entrusted to God for the harvest. Much of the team’s fellowship and encourage ment has occurred in the van while traveling, making their unity stronger for Christ's holy name. All honor and glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ for allowing these athletes to be used by Him and for Him while enjoying the wonderful sport of basketball. — April Besse and Chie Tanaka
