Women’s Basketbafc The women's basketball team was an exciting ministry for thirteen young women who used their God given talents for the furtherance of the gospel. These ladies competed against local highschools and colleges. The aim of the team was not about scoring points, but about winning souls for Christ. Just as a city upon a hill cannot be hid, these girls were aware that their Christ-like at titude was a light to the darkness of lost souls around

them. The strength of their ministry was found in striving together for their common goals, leaning on one another when one becomes weak, and using the Christian's most powerful tool, prayer. They found themselves coming together between classes to praise their Saviour and ask Him to continue giving them the courage to be good Christian soliders and a bright light for others to see. — April Besse and Chie Tanaka
