cheers, hugs and a lot of energy. A basic Good News Club consists of a Bible lesson, verse memorization, mission story, singing, prayer, games and snacks all packed into about an hour. Working with the kids takes a lot of work, patience, energy and love. Unfortunately many of these children come from broken homes, so there is a great need for the Word of God. You may not hear much about CEF, but it is a working and growing ministry whose goal is to share the gospel with the generation that will soon fill our shoes. — Naomi Cross and Carrie Zubik
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a unique ministry that revolves around the younger generation. Being in this ministry gives students a taste of evangelism and disciple- ship. The CEF ministry group is split up into five teams that travel to various schools and homes around the Glens Falls area to teach weekly Good News Clubs. When the rest of the student body go off to a leisurely lunch on Tuesdays, these CEF students rush to get through their meals and load up in their vans to head out once again to teach their kids.
