1 and He said unto them, ’Do business with this until I come back... Luke 19:13 he words of "Occupy Till I Come" still ring in the ears of each person who tended the 2002 Word of Life Bible Institute Missions Conference. The eme of this year’s missions conference was, indeed, "Occupy Till I Come... 4/7/365," based on our Lord’s command in Luke 19:13 to evangelize the entire globe until His glorious return. This winter quarter weekend commenced with a lively flag processional, showing which countries God has already allowed Word of Life to have an impact in. Patriotic and sacred music from several different countries was performed at the International Concert. Students attended various presentations by missionaries from thirteen different organizations. Ron Blue, Harry Bollback, and George Theis opened the Bible in six general sessions, exhorting the staff and students to occupy the earth as Jesus commanded. Joe Jordan challenged the student body with a Faith Promise offering for missions, and the students responded by pledging over and above what was asked of them. The first and second year classes both were treated to powerful films about evangelism on Friday night. On Saturday all of the students heard the unforgettable testimonies of Jim Bowers and Nancy Mankins. The Concert of Prayer, a pleading with God to revive our country for His purpose, was highlighted on Sunday. Everyone who attended this missions conference was presented with a choice to surrender every aspect of their being to God’s work, and to truly occupy His earth until He comes to rule again.
