Second Year- Emphasis on Applying!

The Second Year experience is truly one of a kind. As the second year students learn and grow together, practical ministry training is given through classes to show how to apply the Bible classes of first year. Classes concentrate on missions, evangelism, and youth ministry. These are taught as a lifestyle to live, not as a job to perform. Personal issues of daily living such as marriage and family, keeping daily devotions vibrant, relations within friend ships, and personal character development are often in tertwined in the classes. A great amount of the training and refinement of the individual student comes outside of the classroom through ministry, personal study, and the godly friends that surround them. The words of Proverbs 27:6,17 have proven true time and time again, “Wounds from a friend can be trusted,’’ “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.’’
