Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1997

Married Students

Although many students may tend to overlook them, there were 25 married students who atten ded the Bible Institute this year. What a great opportunity it was for a husband and/or wife to devote a year or two to studying the Word of God. It has been good to know these married couples, although it was sometimes hard because they don't live on campus with the rest of the students. Living off campus has its advantages, as well as its disadvantages. One of the nice things about not living on campus is only getting dem erits in class. A disadvantage could be that fact that a married student sometimes found it diffi cult to have to travel back and forth to class every day, take care of a family and handle a large work load. But through their dedication and commitment to study God’s Word, they have been an inspiration to the single students.
