Word of Life Bible Institute Yearbook 1998

W e often hear about Israel in classes and chapels. Have you ever wanted to go to Israel to really experience what Christ’s life was like? On March 4-13, 1998, several students had the opportunity to fly over to Israel. For most, this was the chance of a lifetime. Many places of biblical significance were visited such as Jerusalem, Capernaum, the Dead Sea, Masada, the Sea of Galilee and many others. An especially impressionable site was the empty tomb. To actually see the place where Jesus lay and know He’s not there, that he has risen indeed, definitely touched everyone’s heart. The students had a great time with each other, and, at the same time, learned new things about the Savior. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, sure to be remembered by all those who went.
