Tirst y e a r Receiving the Call
There is a first for everything. For most of the students attending the Bible Institute, it was their first year studying God’s Word in depth. At the Bible Institute, there were over 500 students, most of which were coming right out of high school, making it a tremendously challenging year indeed! No longer dependent on anyone else, they ventured out on their own with mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness that come with the thought of that “first day.” They left the comfort of their own homes, friends, and family to live with people they had never met before, and to learn things that they couldn’t even imagine. Now they must push out into the sea and cast their nets for the unsaved. Though the challenge was great, God’s grace was sufficient.
