It underscores how digital platforms have significantly contributed to undermining trust in the dominant narratives, which are no longer deemed acceptable as a semantic framework for interpreting events in the Palestinian context. Furthermore, the book invites future research contributions to address pertinent issues such as technological determinism, media bias, counter-hegemony, the political exploitation of platforms and digital colonialism. This collaborative effort comprises in-depth studies that represent a culmination of scholarly endeavours necessary for global, Arabic and international libraries. It starts from the specific case of media coverage of the Sheikh Jarrah events in May 2021 and extends to the broader context of how international media outlets handle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
