Speaker Biographies

Negar Farjadnia Avanade Canada Director, National Security Practice Lead

As Avanade’s Lead for Security practice in Canada, Negar is responsible for driving Avanade Security consulting business and to be the leading cyber security experts in the Microsoft ecosystem. Negar also is accountable for delivering the technology capabilities that power the Avanade clients and secure their operations worldwide. In addition, Negar and her team work with clients to ensure we meet their information security obligations. She is a passionate diversity advocate and leads the Avanade Canada’s PRISM employee network where they support the LGBTQ+ employee and create an inclusive workplace. Negar holds an engineering degree in computer hardware, she also holds many Microsoft

and PMP certifications. Negar serves as a board member for Pink Triangle press since 2015, where she advises the board on technology and security. Negar has been named Canada’s top women in Cybersecurity in 2022.

Juliana’s extensive knowledge base is backed by a stellar educational background in Finance and 15+ years of HR experience at PwC, enabling her to work effectively with the people she coaches. She has lived in multiple countries and speaks three languages fluently; Spanish, Portuguese & English, which enhances her cognitive diversity and cultural dexterity. Joy is a highly respected and experienced Human Capital leader with more than 20 years of experience building best-in-class strategies that enable for-profit and non-profit organizations to foster stronger, more diverse and inclusive cultures. She is a sought-after speaker and thought leader and has presented keynote speeches and workshops in more than 20 countries.
