Speaker Biographies

Marci Jenkins Avanade IT Executive

Marci is an experienced IT Executive, with 27 years of strategy, consulting, operations and delivery experience, who is leading IT Experience within Avanade’s internal IT organization. She is passionate about creating user-centric experiences that empower users to get things done where they “hang out” in an intuitive and efficient way. She guides her teams to leverage the power of technology platforms, pushing the boundaries of those platforms, and influencing key process and organizational changes that result in holistic and intuitive services for internal employees and customers that enable controls to keep our organization and people safe within an exceptional employee experience. Marci

is also a color commentator for women’s college gymnastics, and serves as an Executive in Residence at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Marci also is the co-founder of Cold Cap Advocacy Denver (www. coldcapadvocacydenver.org), a US based Non-Profit whose mission is to enhance women’s lives by educating on how to identify breast cancer early and how to feel more normal during treatment using cold caps to save hair. She lives in Denver, Colorado (USA) and is married to Chad, and has two boys, Mixon (10 years) and Afton (8 years).

Julia Kaufmann PNC Bank Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Risk Management

Julia Kaufmann is a Senior Risk and Transformation executive with expertise in Retail and Commercial Financial Services and Healthcare Informatics. At PNC she is currently responsible for managing Technology, Information Security and Operational Risk for the Retail organization. She leads teams responsible for providing Product, Process and Technology risk and control advisory to the Retail Banking Lines of Business, managing the performance of Retail’s CIO/CISO key metrics to ensure they remain within risk appetite, and evolving governance models to support Enterprise and regulator requirements. Prior to joining PNC, Julia drove Informatics modernization and hospital

acquisitions for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s multi hospital-system under the Chief Medical Informatics Officer. At Accenture, she supported global Commercial and Investment banking clients by developing new business models via strategy and change management consulting. Other internal roles at various Financial Institutions supported re-imagining customer journeys and accelerating business transformations with a focus on establishing business value, execution agility, and risk management. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is passionate about advancing the female talent pool and had a side gig for 20 years re- launching clients into corporate roles after they stepped out of the workforce. Julia has three children… a Senior in High School, a Freshman in College and her eldest just joined her at PNC as a Machine Learning/AI Engineer. She loves to travel, sail, hike with her dog Ella and binge watch anything her kids include her in.
