Speaker Biographies

Lisa Lee Microsoft Chief Security Advisor/SCI Global Lead for Vertical Industries

Lisa leads innovation strategies across vertical industries relevant to security, compliance, and identity (SCI) for one of the largest technology companies in the world. She identifies long-term strategies, designs plans for establishing new ecosystems, and helps to determine whether to pursue a build, buy, or partner approach. Lisa helped design the strategy to build an ecosystem for decentralized identity, is exploring a security innovation for new manufacturing processes, and leads a program for regular engagements with prominent venture capital/equity firms. She supports Microsoft’s engagement with financial services regulators world-wide, provides advice and guidance to CISOs and

other C-level executives, and is a global thought leader for cybersecurity. Lisa also serves as the Executive Security Sponsor for a select group of the largest global banks. Lisa began her career as a federal bank regulator/IT examiner, directing domestic and international IT examinations of Fortune 50 companies and leading the teams that developed the first guidelines for cloud computing and the first Cybersecurity Assessment Tool for the banking industry. She often is a keynote/speaker at conferences such as RSA, RSA APJ, RSA Europe, Sibos, FS-ISAC, EWF, WiCys, and NACHA, as well as sharing the stage with luminaries such as Admiral Mike Mullen and Scott Kupor. She founded/co-founded mentoring (LIFT), networking (CHEER), and student education programs for the Executive Women’s Forum (EWF) and was selected as a Woman of Influence by CSO Magazine/EWF. She is a semi-professional photographer and previously served on the board of directors at Wellspring Counseling in Miami.

Sandy Lind Oracle Principle Program Manager

Sandra (Sandy) Lind currently serves as the Principal Program Manager for Oracle’s Audit and Compliance Program in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure organization. She moved to Houston after spending nearly a decade in Washington, DC where she provided IT support and business consultation to the FBI, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Her IT experience and passion are rooted in Information Security, Business Process Reengineering, and Business Transformation. In addition to this experience, Sandy maintains close ties to NASA where she began her career and where her husband still works in Public Relations. Outside of work, Sandy

enjoys sports, traveling and the ever-evolving journey of raising two toddlers.
