Speaker Biographies

Timmesse Thompson Executive Women’s Forum Technology & Event Coordinator Born in North Memphis, Timmesse (TIM-EESE) is named after her father Timothy, and the great state of Tennessee. Timmesse is an authentic, highly creative, and innovative event and logistics expert with a foundation in the event management and DEI field. She brings over 10 years of experience developing and implementing DEI strategies in the event management field for educational, corporate, non-profit, venue, and private organizations. She has executed events ranging from weddings with 50 guests to live concerts with 2,500 attendees.

Timmesse’s expertise lies in planning, developing, and executing a wide variety of successful events, programs, community initiatives, and activities while overseeing those events throughout their full life cycle to ensure success and real community impact. As an advocate in the Phoenix Arizona community, Timmesse is the Co-Founder of Black Event Professionals of Arizona (BEPA), a society dedicated primarily to the networking and training needs of Black meeting planners. She serves as both the Founder and Director of the DEI Committee for MPI AZ Sunbelt Chapter as well as the Board Director of DEI. For Timmesse, the only thing that can “top the feeling” of coordinating a large project is the excitement of being a part of an organization professionally that aligns directly with her community values.

Tsega Thompson Atlantis Bahamas Executive Director Cyber & Information Security

Information Security professional with twelve (12)+ years of experience, while working in telecommunications, financial services and hospitality industries. I obtained my BSc in Information Technology from University of Phoenix and a MPS in Information Assurance from Pennsylvania State University. I currently work as the Executive Director, Cyber & Information Security at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. My portfolio includes IT Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Strategic objectives, Operation Resiliency, Identity & Access Management, Data Security, Security Operations and Security Awareness. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge I have obtained an array of

certifications throughout my career. However, at this time I only hold the following: Security +, GSNA, ECIH, CISSP and CRISC. In my downtime I enjoy reading pure fiction and traveling. I consider my greatest accomplishment my one child, and I’m currently vying for Aunt of the year with my youngest nephews.
