Speaker Biographies

Kandyce Tripp IBM Security Partner, Global Security Services Alliances

Kandyce Tripp, Partner, Global Security Services Alliances, is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and then managing the Worldwide Security Services Strategic Alliance Partner Program in alignment with the business unit’s offering development and sales objectives. Kandyce is responsible for formulating alliance strategies and programs to drive revenues and business objectives within IBM’s cross functional eco-system. In addition, she manages the relationship at the executive level with key security alliance partners. Previously, Kandyce was a Vice President at Palo Alto Networks where she focused on building critical channels and alliances programs which drove revenue growth

and partner improvements. Kandyce also operationalized routes to market, mergers and acquisitions and cloud go-to- market programs and business models during her six-year tenure. Prior to that, Kandyce held positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, Poly, SunTrust Banks, Inc. and Avaya. From 2012 through 2016 and again in 2018 she was recognized as a “Power 100” Women in the Channel by CRN. In 2012 through 2022 she was recognized as a “Woman of the Channel” by CRN. And, in 2017 Kandyce was a Women of the Channel, Security Honoree. She was also recognized as a CRN Channel Chief in 2022. Kandyce holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland. Kandyce also holds a Certificate of Cybersecurity Strategy from Georgetown University.

Comfort Uduebholo Amazon Web Services Advisor/Security Engineer

Comfort is CyberSecurity professional with over 8+ years of experience in the Technical space. She is passionate about sharing her technical expertise and is actively involved in various speaking platforms. She is actively involved in promoting women/girls in Cyber- Security and engages in conversations not limited to leadership, career navigation, growth and breaking imposter syndrome. She also mentors and educates women/girls in Tech. In June 2019, she helped build the online platform called ‘mentorship’ with the aim of coaching young adults on navigating the current difficult climate to build a successful career in STEM. She is an active member and volunteer at the Executive Women’s Forum.

Torey Vanek Veracode Director, Strategic Product Management

Torey Vanek is the Director of Strategic Product Management for Government and Regulatory at Veracode. She helps agencies within the Federal Government, State and Local Government, and European Union to understand and remediate application security challenges in support of their missions. Before joining Veracode, she was the Portfolio Lead for CI/CD at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)’s Detachment 12, also known as Kessel Run. Kessel Run delivers combat capabilities through software and has revolutionized the Air Force software development and acquisition process. Prior to joining Kessel Run, Torey was with 18F, GSA’s technology consulting group that works

with federal agencies. She has led and worked on projects with the United States Marine Corps, the U.S. Tax Court, and the Department of Energy. She has product and technical experience from her work with the Internal Revenue Service, Bloomberg and her work with the National Cancer Institute through ICF. She graduated from Colorado State University and completed a graduate program in Information Technology, from the University of Virginia. She resides in Fairfax, VA with her husband, 13 year old daughter and goofy German Shepherd.
