Rachel T . Seiver, ’25, American Mission, Fayoum, Egypt, who with another worker had the privilege of journeying to the British Isles and attending the Keswick Conference last summer, writes that upon her return and her report of blessings described by missionaries from other regions, the pastors and church members in her dis­ trict expressed a desire to pray for revival in their own work. Newton A. and Mrs. Kapp (Doris B. Blackwell, ’31), members of the Sudan In­ terior Mission, planned to sail on March 24 from New York, leaving England on April 9 for Egypt in order that Mr. Kapp might have three months of further study in Arabic at Cairo. In July they expect to return to England to take a boat for Nigeria, going on through Nigeria to the French Sudan where they have been desig­ nated for work. Flor­ ence St., Burbank, Calif., known as the “ Cowboy Evangelist,” held a “Round-Up for G od” from March 20 to April 3 in the First Baptist Church of Lindsay, Calif. Attendance was the largest in the history of the church, and loud speakers were used in the basement for those who could not get into the crowded main auditorium. Many young people were present, and many deci­ sions were made for the Lord. H arwood , 412 Ulysses St., Los Angeles, Calif., and John Drawz closed a two-weeks’ union meeting at Cashmere, Wash., on March 27, with 171 decisions to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. They held meetings early in April in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Bethel Baptist Church. Their later schedule has been announced as follows: April 24 to May 8—Albany, Ore.; May 15 to 29— Sand Point, Ida.; June 5 to 19—Holyoke, Colo.; July—Yakima, Wash.; August 14 to 28— Escondido, Calif.; September 18 to October 2—Redding, Calif.; October 16 to 30— Struthers, Ohio, and November—Ohio and Pennsylvania.
