FRONTIER CITY Open mostly year-round, Frontier City is the region’s premier theme park and includes its sister water park, Hurricane Harbor. Frontier City, along north Interstate 35, has more than 50 rides, shows and other attractions, spread across 40 acres. Hurricane Harbor is along I-40 West. Both parks are owned and operated by Six Flags, so season passes for Six Flags are honored at both OKC parks. MUSEUM OF OSTEOLOGY One of the most unique attractions in Oklahoma, the 7,000-square-foot Museum of Osteology showcases hundreds of skulls and skeletons, from tiny bats to a humpbacked whale hovering overhead.

Stroll along the streets of Stockyards City and explore more than 70 businesses featuring Western wear, ranch needs, entertainment and fine dining. AMERICAN BANJO MUSEUM In Bricktown, all things relating to “America’s Instrument” are on display at the world-class treasure that is the American Banjo Museum. The ABM features the largest publicly displayed collection in the world, with more than 400 instruments, recordings, film, video, printed music and memorabilia related to the banjo. Actor Steve Martin and Kermit The Frog have banjos in the museum’s collection.
