Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between FTTH Council Asia- Pacific and Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) Shajahan representing MSCA together with 3 panelists; Ts. Hafizam Mustaffa, Melaka State Government; Nurul Aishah Norodin, Penang State Government ; and Badli Shah, Smart Selangor Delivery Unit. All panelists shared on the challenges and recommended strategies that can be implemented at the state level. In supporting the Fiber Talk Malaysia 2023, MSCA participated in the Panel Session - Smart Connectivity Master Plan for Resilient Smart City. This session highlighted on tstate government plan for the planning and implementation of smart cities. This session was moderated by Mohamed The MoU between FTTH Council Asia- Pacific and Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) aims to leverage on the latter’s network of members to collectively drive collaborations in the development of Smart Cities. This involves exchange of knowledge, expertise, technologies and know- how to provide sustainable long- term telecommunication solutions to develop Smart Cities. The MoU also entails collaborations in capacity building for sustainable and smart cities project performance evaluation, as well as exploring potential large market reach in IR 4.0 technologies-based education and training segments. 41
