In conjunction with the Working Visit by YB Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) to MIGHT, MSCA took the opportunity to participate in the Technology & Innovation Showcase. MSCA Chairman, Ts. Dr. Raslan Ahmad accompanied the Minister to visit and discuss with the MSCA Members which were represented by Dr Mazlan Abbas, Favoriot Sdn Bhd, and Mr. Mohamed Shajahan Bin Mohamed Iqbal, Three Opp Sdn Bhd. The Favoriot team showcased on Smart City Environmental Dashboard-water quality in lake, weather, and hydrology while the Three 0pp Sdn Bhd & team presented on Smart Utility Node (Sun) common utility node. MSCA showed its strength in championing local technology & product for smart cities development. In supporting the adoption of cloud computing in public service, MSCA represented by Ahmad Muhsin Mubarak (Elix Solution Sdn Bhd) has participated as one of the panellist for The Future of Public Service: Cloud Computing and Citizen-Centric Services, which held at Le Meridian Putrajaya. The session has addressed and explored the challenges, opportunities and strategies in leveraging cloud computing in order to deliver citizen-centric services.
