Dr. Raslan Ahmad attended the 2nd Organising Committee Meeting for the 27th World Congress On Innovation and Technology 2023 & 6th International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak 2023 (WCIT|IDECS) chaired by YBhg. Datu Dr Mohamad Abdullah Hj Zaidel, Deputy State Secretary. The Sarawak Government is hosting the 27th World Congress on Innovation & Technology (WCIT 2023) and IDECS 2023, with Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) as the strategic partner. These events aim to promote innovation, technology, and sustainable development. WCIT, a global platform for the information technology industry, has featured keynote speakers such as Bill Gates, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Margaret Thatcher. IDECS, a homegrown conference, focuses on financial well-being, societal equity, and ecological health, aligning with the Sarawak Government's SDGs in the digital age.
