At ABNB, I find myself coming back to our purpose often and at its core, it’s simple: taking care of you and the communities we call home. I’m continually struck by what it means to earn the trust of more than 76,000 members who choose us to be part of their financial journey. That trust means everything to me, and it’s something we work hard to earn each and every day - just as we’ve done since 1960. I also know that right now, many of you are feeling the pressure of a changing economy. From rising fuel and housing costs to the price of everyday essentials, it adds up and it impacts how you make decisions for your family and your future. That’s real, and it’s something we’re paying close attention to. As your credit union, we’re here to stand alongside you with steady, reliable solutions you can count on. You’ll see that commitment in the way we show up for our members every day. Our team is focused on keeping things simple, helpful, and accessible from digital tools that make it easier to budget and manage your money, to competitive rates on loans, mortgages, and home equity lines of credit, along with programs designed to provide relief when it’s needed most. Supporting local businesses is one more way we help make our neighborhoods stronger. At the same time, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make your experience with ABNB faster and more convenient. We recently launched the next phase of our Digital Assistant, AI Voice Plus, to help shorten wait times and answer your questions quickly when you call. We’ve also introduced near-instant access to funds through digital card issuance when you open a credit, debit, or HELOC account. These may feel small in the moment but make a real difference in everyday financial freedom. And for us, our commitment goes beyond banking. I’m proud to say that giving back is simply part of who we are. This past quarter, our team has been serving in the community teaching financial education at Christopher Newport University and Lakeland High School, and volunteering with organizations like the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, ForKids, and First Landing State Park. We believe strong communities start with people showing up, and that’s something we’re proud to do. ABNB is also excited to bring a little extra value to your membership right now.
