What you need to know about motorising window coverings
All types of interior blinds can be motorised.
How is a motor installed?
The motorised blind is installed in exactly the same was as a manual blind. The motor is installed out of sight in the blind headrail or roller tube. The system is very easy to configure and the blind can be used immediately.
Whatever type of blind you have, there is a Somfy solution to give you the convenience of motorisation.

Converting from manual to motorised is so easy! It is simple to motorise your blinds, curtains and projection screens without having to change everything or damaging your décor. Talk to your installer!
The curtain simply hooks onto a rail on which the motor is installed. The motorised rail is designed to blend in with the décor. There is a choice of side or centre opening.
