Insurance We take every precaution for the care and safety of your purchase. We highly recommend that you secure insurance immediately following the sale to protect your investment. Delivery Any bull selling for greater than $20K will have free transport in the continental US. All other bulls will be delivered free within a 200 mile radius of Montague California. We will help facilitate the most economical shipping for any animals needing transportation over 200 miles. Bulls born before 12/1/2024 need to be picked up or delivered by March 1, 2026 and those born after 12/1/2024 need to be picked up or delivered by April 1, 2026 unless other arrangements All bulls will pass a breeding soundness exam prior to being delivered or picked up. All bulls come with a first breeding season guarantee. A breeding season is defined as a 90 day period from bull turn out to take out. Our warranty includes semen and feet issues (not stemming from injury or management issues) for the first breeding season. All other injuries such as broken penis, foot rot, acts of God and situations related to management that are beyond our control will not be covered. A vet inspection will be required for any warranty claim. have been made between buyer and seller. Guarantee/Warranty We understand the investment you make in your bull can be significant. We will make every effort to take care of you if something goes awry. Warranties will be settled as sale credit, less the salvage value of the bull. If mutually agreed upon and a replacement bull is available the warranty may be settled with a replacement bull and the salvage value of the original bull shall go to the seller.
Sale Location and Format This is an online timed event hosted by DV Auction. Bidding opens on February 15th and closes on February 16th at 6 PM PST. All lots close at the same time. If a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the closing time, closing times will be extended to 5 minutes after that bid. This continues until no bids are placed for 5 minutes. NO BUYER’S FEE OR COMMISSION. Open House and Cattle Viewing We will have an Open House on February 15th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm . Cattle will be penned for viewing, and food and refreshments will be available all day. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to check them out anytime prior to the sale, just give us a call! All EPDs are the most current at the time of printing. Please note that EPDs may change from the time of printing the sale catalog until registration papers are transferred. Health certificates will be done as needed. All animals will be sold with current brand inspection. Retained semen interest Hinton Ranch Simmentals retains 1/3 semen interest on all bulls that sell. Buyer will have 100% possession on all purchases. Terms and Conditions All animals sell under the terms and conditions provided by the American Simmental Association. All potential accidents occurring at the Open House are the responsibility of prospective buyers. Payments for purchases are due upon completion of the sale. Invoices will be sent within 3 days to the email address listed in the DV Auction system. Announcements Any announcements or updates will be posted at DV Auction.
