Kenner Simmentals - 30th Annual Simmental Bull & Female Sale [2/14/26]

KENNER SIMMENTAL RANCH Black 1/2 SimAngus Bulls (All Homo Polled)

TEHAMA TAHOE B767 PB ANGUS

This is the 3rd year we’ve used Tahoe in our herd. We chose Tahoe as our 2nd Angus sire to use in our AI program for calving ease, yet he still maintains growth for a calving ease bull. He did exactly what we wanted. He works well on Simmental cattle. He was used mainly on heifers and some high-performance cows. Two Tahoe sons sell as Lots 64 – 65.

Congratulations to Bryan & Gay Leapaldt as Benson County’s Outstanding Agriculturalists at this year’s NDSU Harvest Bowl! Bryan has been involved in farming and ranching for 45 years. After farming independently, he became the herdsman at Kenner Simmental Ranch in 1995, where he has worked for nearly 30 years. The operation uses rotational grazing and has integrated fresh water systems through- out most pastures. Bryan enjoys working closely with cattle year-round, especially during arti- ficial insemination and embryo seasons. He serves on the Benson County Extension Advisory Board and has chaired the Leeds Community Center for two decades. His wife Gay operates a daycare and is active on several local boards, including the Leeds Ambulance District and the Community Center. Reprinted from NDSU Extension
