His career journey began in finance and capital-raising before pivoting to development and operations of senior living communi- ties. Steve's expertise lies in executing growth strategies and optimizing profitability for the companies he works with. His involvement with The Blake House started in 2015 when his son entered the program, leading to active engagement as a donor, participant in TBH Inner Heal- ing classes, and eventually joining the Board of Direc- tors in 2019. Steve's dedication to family, with 28 years of marriage to Kelley and two adult children, underpins his commitment to serving the community and fostering growth.

Kelen Owens, the Founder/Executive Director of Elevate Counseling Center, embodies resilience and compassion in her work. Overcoming personal adversity, Kelen channeled her experiences into a career in counseling, starting in 2005. Her journey led to the establishment of the non-profit Ele- vate Counseling Center in 2017, grounded in the unwavering truth of Christ's love. Kelen's deep connection with The Blake House dates back to 2011, where she has been instrumental in teaching and counseling the men in the program. Joining the board of TBH in 2013, Kelen continues to provide invalu- able support through her faith-driven approach to counseling and mentorship. With 27 years of marriage to her husband, Mike, and three children, Kelen's steadfast commitment to her family and her calling shines through in her dedication to serving those in need.
