Driving Transformation: Women of Gilgal's Dynamic Support Program

W omen of Gilgal is dedicated to serv- ing women exclusively, creating a space where they can focus entirely on their journey to- wards recovery. Our program is designed for women facing homelessness and grappling with drug and alcohol addiction, ensuring that they receive the support needed to nav- igate their path towards healing. To be eligi- ble for our program, clients must be at least 18 years old, mentally and physically capable of engaging in a rigorous recovery process, and committed to their journey of transfor- mation. We believe that controllable mental health diagnoses should not hinder admis- sion, emphasizing inclusivity and support for all individuals seeking renewal through our program. Prior to entering our program, clients are required to undergo detox as a vital step in preparing them for the process ahead. By cleansing their bodies and minds, clients can commence their recovery journey from a place of clarity and readiness, laying the foun- dation for meaningful change and growth. At our center, we understand the importance of starting the recovery process from a place of renewal, ensuring that each woman embarks on her journey towards positive change with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of commitment.

Change is not just a possibility—it is a tangible reality waiting to unfold within the walls of our center. Our process is meticulously designed to guide women through a journey of transforma- tion and empowerment. From individualized case management and goal setting to health and wellness initiatives, life skills development, relapse prevention strategies, recovery programming, workforce development opportunities, education- al advancement, Bible study sessions, and spiritual enrichment, our program offers a comprehensive approach to empower women along their recov- ery path. Each component of our program is tai- lored to equip women with the tools, resources, and support they need to navigate their journey effectively and embrace lasting change. As part of our holistic offerings, we collaborate closely with probation officers, court systems, the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), and other community service providers to ensure compliance and continuity of care for our clients. This collaborative effort extends the network of support beyond our facilities, enrich- ing the recovery experience and enhancing the potential for sustained success. By forging strong partnerships within the community, we reinforce its commitment to empowering women, facilitat- ing lasting change, and promoting a future filled with hope, strength, and new beginnings.
