Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), MHFV has become a leader in educating and engaging fathers, family members, and intimate partners to empower mothers on their recovery journey.
Building strong rapport with family members is vital. Our Father Family Advocate plays a key role in this, conducting screenings and assessments to ensure that the support system surrounding the mothers is healthy and safe. Psychoeducational materials are provided to family members during monthly events, reinforcing the idea that recovery is a collective effort.
