After School Program Our Afterschool Program caters to children aged 5 to 12 years, focusing on a broad range of developmental areas including academic support, mentoring, youth development, arts, sports, and recreation. Recognizing that time outside of school is pivotal for development, we offer engaging activities that nurture social and emotional skills. Children partake in gardening, one-on-one tutoring, preventive activities, and community engagement events. These enriching programs have demonstrated positive outcomes, leading to improved academic performance, better behavior at home and in the classroom, and enhanced overall health. Summer Enrichment Program Combatting the "brain drain" that can occur over summer breaks, our Summer Enrichment Program actively involves children aged 5 to 12 in various activities designed to maintain mental engagement. Through physical activities such as Zumba and Yoga, alongside educational pursuits in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M), our program keeps young minds and bodies active. Additionally, we emphasize literacy to ensure that all children remain prepared for their return to school. The program also focuses on building soft skills, promoting peer relationships, resilience, and self-confidence. Education Cooperative Program Our IMLC Education Cooperative provides a supportive and safe environment that combines fun activities with educational enrichment during “School-Out” sessions. This program allows students to strengthen academic and communication skills while engaging in project-based learning and cross-curricular activities. By tying

activities to the curriculum taught by local schools, we fortify their educational experiences beyond the classroom. Students learn not only to work collaboratively toward common goals but also to develop strong social ties with peers and adults, enhancing their communal sense of belonging. Family Counseling and Reunification Believing that family is foundational, Mary Hall Freedom Village actively collaborates with social service agencies and other community partners to support family reunification. We work diligently to stabilize families whose children have been separated from their mothers, ensuring that connections remain strong. Psychological Testing and Counseling Children often face traumatic experiences, particularly when issues such as addiction are present in their lives. Our services include psychological assessments, follow-up counseling, and therapy for every child adversely affected by their mother’s addiction. We are committed to healing and empowering the next generation. At Mary Hall Freedom Village, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive. By offering a comprehensive array of services, we prepare children not only for school but for a successful future.
