H eather Chase , LCSW, SUDC, the Executive Director at Haven Helps, brings over 14 years of experience in the field of substance abuse, having commenced her journey with The Haven in 2007. With a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah, specializing in Forensics, Heather is also a graduate of the University's Substance Use Disor- der Counseling Certification Program. Trained in various therapeutic modalities and equipped with Executive Leadership Training from the David Eccles School of Business, Heather has garnered acco- lades for her leadership prowess, earning awards such as the Outstanding Nonprofit Leader from Utah Nonprofits Association.

Committed to upholding the highest ethical standards, The Havens facilities are fully licensed and overseen by a skilled team of professionals trained in case management and certified as Peer Support Specialists. The sober living homes at The Haven are designed to be safe, affordable, and conveniently located near public transit, offering residents an ideal setting to focus on their recovery journey. Our admissions team is dedicated to addressing your queries, ex- ploring funding options, and guiding you through the decision-making process to ascertain if The
housing through The Haven's Sober Living Pro- gram, addressing the needs of veterans, low-in- come individuals, justice-involved populations, and those facing homelessness or unstable housing situations. The initial step in the admission process in- volves scheduling a pre-screening assessment with our intake coordi- nator. This brief 20-minute inter- view, conducted either by phone or in person, aids in determining the suitability of The Haven's program for your specific requirements. While The Haven does not pro- vide detoxification services, we do mandate a minimum of five days of sobriety upon admission. In cases where withdrawal symptoms pose safety concerns, hindering active participation in treatment, we facilitate referrals to facilities equipped to address detoxification needs, prioritizing your well-being and readiness for engagement in our programs.
