I N S I D E - G A L E R I E

In a space that resembles a small house, located in Paris’ 9th arrondissement, Amélie displays a selection of paintings and sculptures in a way that makes them part of the decor. She subtly defines an inviting circuit that moves from room to room so non-professionals or experts can imagine the creations that appeal to them in a natural way. Her space, that she calls the Art Room, is associated with the Mini Room next door, which features objects and small pieces of furniture. Together the two concept stores make up Amélie Maison d’Art. Among the artists represented are painter Garance Vallée, sculptor Victoire d’Harcourt and the Atelier Sauvage design duet. The hybrid location, decorated by Batiik Studio and painted in a welcoming white, lets the artwork come alive. In a marriage between modernity and authenticity, the exposed wood beams, stainless steel work surfaces and herringbone parquets create an overall harmony in the image of Amélie’s original concept. amelie-paris.com
