Coconut Tree Climber
Seize the unique opportunity to meet our coconut tree climbers, responsible for the maintenance and health of the 17,000 coconut trees here on Villingili Island. Learn their traditional climbing ways and observe how skilfully they look after and cultivate the palms. The experience concludes with a fresh coconut to enjoy while the climbers will share more insights about the significance and use of coconuts in the Maldivian culture.
