Sandy Halstead, CADC, ASAT, BA, our esteemed Clinical Director, boasts more than two decades of experience in supporting addicted individuals and their families on the road to recovery. With certifications as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC), an Associate Sex Addiction Ther- apist (ASAT), and an Associate Multiple Addiction Therapist (AMAT), Sandy's expertise spans various facets of addiction treatment and family therapy. Her academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Addiction Studies from Al- vernia College, further enhancing her professional acumen.
Sandy's tenure at Caron Treatment Center equipped her with invaluable skills in relapse prevention and family therapy, evidencing her ability to connect with clients using a blend of cognitive, behav- ioral, and experiential modalities Together, Brian and Sandy lead our team at Transitions in Recovery with a shared commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care, empowering individuals to embrace recovery with courage, resilience, and hope.
