Recognizing the vital role that close friends and family members play in an individual's journey towards well-being, our dedicated staff are fully trained to involve and sup- port your loved ones throughout the treatment process. Whether family members seek services in- dependently or wish to actively participate in your recovery, Stepping Stones ensures that the entire support system is engaged in fostering a nurturing environment conducive to growth and healing. Recovery is a holistic journey that extends beyond the individual to encompass their entire family and social support network. With this core principle in mind, Stepping Stones offers a weekly Family Workshop designed to empower close friends, employers, and family members with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively support their loved one through the recovery process. This work- shop has garnered widespread acclaim over the past two decades for its ability to educate and guide loved ones on how to be supportive without resorting to nagging or control. The Family Workshop at Stepping Stones serves as a cornerstone of support, providing essential guidance and emotional relief to parents, spouses, friends, and other concerned individuals as they navigate the complexities of supporting a loved one in recovery. By imparting principles and strate- gies aimed at fostering healthy, empowering support systems, the workshop equips participants with the skills to create a positive and conducive environment for their loved one's recovery journey. Held every Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the workshop is offered at no additional cost for a duration of one year or more, ensuring ongoing support and guidance as needed.
