It’s About Taxes — Not the Climate
By Russ Rodgers May 2024
Microsoft 365 is the envisioned future. To use the most recent iterations of Microsoft Office, one must pay a subscription fee. Currently, consumers can get around this by either using an older version of Office, or by using a substitute software suite, like
HVAC connected online? That too, will re- quire a subscription fee to keep it in tip-top shape to “protect the climate.”
In the 1660s, Britain imposed what be- came known as the Chimney Tax. This tax was created in part because Britain was at- tempting to enlarge the tax base, which
Indeed, this is possibly the most critical reason why globalists want you to rent
everything, from cars to clothing. It brings in a steady stream of money from you, the 99%, to them, like Bernie Sanders, the “One Pu- cent.”
prior to this had largely been based on property taxes paid by the landed elite. The land-based tax system was tricky, be- cause the landed elite could easily organize and engage in tax revolts against the Crown. There- fore, the British govern- ment moved to enlarge the base, not only by tax- ing the number of flues in each chimney, but taxing a host of other items, such as candles and coal. The experience of Britain is the experience we are about to face once more. Despite having al- most every imaginable tax under the sun, our greedy “betters” are demanding more.
Opponents of the “inter- net of things” are focused on the privacy issues. And while these issues are real, I really don’t think that’s the bottom line of the elite. For the elite, the bottom line is what they always care most about… easy money. Currently, the frugal can avoid spending money on many things, concentrating on the essentials of life. But once everything goes to the “internet of things,” you will be forced to pay, Pay, PAY. You will become a permanent renter. While I do not have a “smoking gun” to prove this, if history is any guide the goal of all of this climate change nonsense is not about forcing you back to the Stone Age. It’s about expanding the tax base and tak- ing even more of your hard-earned money… again.
Open Office.
But the “internet of things” has the po- tential to change all of that.
And they will get that through an expan- sion in new taxes called “subscription fees.”
You have a refrigerator connected to the internet? Prepare to pay an annual fee for the software to keep it running. The so- called “kill switch” for cars being imposed as of 2026? That’s not so much about lim- iting your travel to fight global warming as forcing you to pay a subscription fee to keep using it, above your annual tag fee. Is your
Many folks today realize that “climate change” is a scam. But I don’t believe it’s the scam many think it is. It’s not about taking away your car, refrigerator or HVAC. Rather, it’s about creating a fake crisis to force you to pay a subscription fee to use those items… year after weary year.
Make These Four Changes... (Continued from Page 8)
America cannot escape this judgment, and any attempt to gain votes by going along with the crowd, will result in speed- ing up that judgment. Here is where we must use the phrase made famous by Rev. R. G. Lee. Lee said there will be a “Payday Someday” over 1200 times in his ser- mons. He was not wrong. We have been decrying the loss of six million Jews in the Holocaust since WW 2. We spend billions of dollars a year to fight childhood diseases. Throw in the billions spent to save animals and their off- spring. But we still chop little human beings to shreds and stuff them into medical waste containers – then we act indig- nant when someone calls us hypocrites. Come in for a landing Amer- ica – the way is clear! It’s not about Roe v. Wade – it’s about you v. God. Make a Paradigm Shift in American Higher Education Since the Second World War, college freshmen have started
their tertiary education with the admonition to question all authority. It seems like gener- ally good advice, but it became clear after the first few years of this sage advice, that the stu- dents failed to question those who taught them to question. When that error went un-no- ticed for a few decades some got lost – namely the young minds that labored under that mis- guided notion. Occasionally a far-left in- structor and some dubious textbooks were dragged out to the news commentators, but it has never been enough to offset the steady decline into radical- ism and left-wing ideology. After screaming for weeks about gassing Jews and in- tifada, the students at Colum- bia now want to be excused from final exams because they are stressed. The quickest way to test how good an education is, would be to observe the character, the general disposition of, and the ability to cope with problems in the graduates. We now have a
bird’s eye view of the best Co- lumbia, Harvard, UCLA, and others are producing. Only by tearing down the cur- riculums of these schools and starting over, can we produce a generation of truly educated people. Now, we are running day care centers at about $80,000 per student per year. Just to parrot what your peers have to say, is not an ed- ucation. It is a mental modula- tion mill for the soured and misled proselytes of a pop-cul- ture generation. Little wonder the Apostle Paul said these word while speaking of those who are alive in the last generation... “Ever learn- ing, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).
tics “the swamp,” he was mis- taken. It is not a swamp – it is a sewer. Democrats have become the party of the LGBTQ, child mu- tilations, religious persecution, weak foreign policy, inflation, destruction of the military, anti-free speech, lawfare against opponents, homosexual activity in the halls of congress, transgender confusions, insider trading, cheating, dishonesty, and disgrace. It is time to stop voting for anyone who is democrat – not just the president. Is this a biased statement? Not at all. It is an urgent state- ment because, if we continue with these political misfits, the nation will fall. Anyone who can see what is going on today knows, that we are hanging off the edge of a precipice. We are teetering to- ward the bottom of the pit known as “the place of no re- turn.” It’s simple America. Move it or lose it.
Change Your Politics – As Fast as Possible
The days when bipartisanship was generally a good tool, has long since passed. With excep- tions, the Democratic party has become the party of evil. When Donald Trump began to call those entrenched in D.C. poli-
