FedEx arrived with dog food for Wolf for Vets.
Organizers for Woof for Vets recently accepted a semitruck of top-quality dog food from Nestle, the parent company of Purina feed. The food distribution spread across southern Missouri, including Dallas County. FedEx delivered the donation gratis. The truck brought the third donation of food, and each time the load was bigger. The dog food will go to Veterans from Willow Springs, Springfield to Fort Leonard Wood, veteran shelters, as well as local veterans. The 1-pound package is waterproof and has a zipper-style top.
This past Veterans Day, the wolf are vets organization handed out 3,000 pounds of feed during the celebration in Branson. When asked how all this came about, Sue Swanagin of Woof for Vets said that she met a representative from Purina Feed at a national dog event and heard about the company’s philanthropy. Then, she just asked to share with the organization.. Purina is making it all happen for the veterans. Wolf for Vets wants to thank Randy Swanagin for helping to unload the semitruck and Purina foods for its generosity.
