MIGHT in collaboration with Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Standards Malaysia (Standard), and Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance (MSCA) conducted a series of engagement with relevant Smart Cities stakeholders to develop standards relevant to the harmonisation of the smart city developers to streamline their ICT infrastructure and commonality for integration with dierent systems. The Smart Cities' ICT Infrastructure workgroup, co-chaired by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and MSCA-MIGHT showed 70% progress completion and is expected to be completed by September 2022. Currently, the committee is finalising the document for approval by the ministry in May 2022. The documents identified 20 ICT technical codes and reviewed 53 international and 51 Malaysian Standard.
