The document outlines how smart cities promise new sources of economic growth and support the country's commitment towards a sustainable nation. National Advanced Materials Technology Roadmap 2021-2030 29 June 2021 | Online MIGHT was commissioned to conduct a study on “National Advanced Materials Technology Road- map” by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). Realising the importance of advanced materials in developing advanced technologies and having been listed as one of 4th Industrial Revolution major component, the advanced materials roadmap was developed to explore the research and develop- ment on advanced materials ecosystem in Malaysia for the next 10 years. This is aligned with country’s aspiration to become a high technology nation by 2030.
The Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and Confexhub virtually released the ‘Malaysia Smart City Outlook 2021-2022’ (MSCO2021-2022) in conjunction with the 26th MIGHT Annual General Meeting. MSCO2021-2022 themed “Embracing Technology Towards Enhancing Smart Cities & Communities” is a practical guide to help smart city stakeholders monitor Malaysia's latest achievements in smart city development, adopt strategic technologies and identify gaps and priority areas for development. It also provides a network of global case studies and potential action plans as references.
