The Nordic Forum on Sustainable Living - Solutions in Building, Water and Waste Management was held on 27 May 2021. This virtual event was co-organised by MIGHT and The Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the Honorary Consulate General of Iceland in Kuala Lumpur. The forum was launched by Datuk Zainal Abidin bin Abu Hassan, Secretary-General Ministry of Housing and Local Government and Ms Milla Bruneau, the Executive Director City of Lahti in Finland: European Green Capital 2021. The session aimed at sharing the innovative approaches to and experiences of environmentally and economically sustainable living in the Nordic countries by the esteemed experts.
Dr. Raslan Ahmad represented MIGHT at the 14th China Bioindustry Convention Parallel Session: ANSO International Forum on Green Technology and delivered a presentation entitled ‘Circular Economy and Green Agenda Towards Shared Prosperity Vision 2030’. The presentation discussed how green technology applications complement the circular economy. He also shared case studies based on MIGHT’s experience in collaborations with industry players, including partnerships in Waste Eco Park, Produc- tion of Biodegradable Packaging from Paddy Straw and Food Waste Composting Machine.
In addition, the technology providers from both Nordics Countries and Malaysia presented their smart solutions and groundbreaking technologies on green and energy-e cient buildings, smart water cycle and waste management.
