HR Unit together with the IGU conducted three awareness sessions on Integrity & Governance and Corruption Risk Management aimed at providing MIGHT sta with clear understanding and insight into Section 17A of the MACC Act, which requires all sta to understand elements of prevention, detection, response and investigation of bribery for better business ethics and compliance required of a government agency.

A Finance for Non-Finance training for MIGHT sta was and conducted by Mr. Thevaraja Karuppia, a Member of Associated in Chartered Institute of Management Accountant. The training aims at facilitating all business or functional heads to grasp and apply financial management knowledge, skills and techniques to become truly, all-rounded professional managers. The session exposed sta members to dierent aspects of financial management, as well as gain better understanding of accounting and financial terms and concepts. These are applied to planning, decision making, as well as controls and analysis functions in their respective fields of operations. The enhanced knowledge of financial statements also help develop better budgeting, projection, and forecasting skills, and to better and more eectively manage financial resources.
