Draw a mindmap. This technique allows you to look at your ebook from multiple angles. Place your topic in the center and start adding ideas around it. Create connections with the help of lines or arrows. At this stage, write down anything that comes to mind, however big or small it might be. You can edit the entire thing later. Work backwards. Start at the end: what is the impact of your ebook? What goals do you want your readers to achieve? Then move further backward: what do they need to know before they can achieve those goals? And, finally, what should their first steps be? Examine other ebooks and books. Look through several books and their tables of contents to see what topics appear in almost every book. Is there anything that you can add to your outline?
