CATERING EQUIPMENT
C atering equipment specialists, Cater2, delivered a bespoke commercial kitchen to the Shantallow Community Centre project. Cater2 designed and installed a stainless fabrication, extraction canopy system and catering equipment following that up with a full training session and handover on completion. The installation included a 6-ring electric range with oven, which will increase productivity and cooking volumes. Fryers and hotplate with faster cooking times were chosen to provide catering staff with better options.
Commenting, Mark Fry, Managing Director for Cater2 said, “This was a challenging project with various sub contractors and specifications to meet. However Cater2 managed it well and completed our package on time working alongside PK McKaigue and their excellent team. “We are pleased with the final outcome and would like to wish Derry City & Strabane District Council all the best with their new building and thanks to PK McKaigue for another project well managed and delivered between our two companies.”

ELECTRICAL SERVICES
A M Electrical Services (NI) Ltd provided the electrical services for the Shantallow Community Centre project for the main contractor, P&K McKaigue Ltd. The general power and lighting installation included: emergency lighting, fire alarm, intruder alarm, hearing loop system, disabled access & refuge, CCTV and exterior lights.
