There is a huge difference between gleaning from someone you admire versus someone you consistently measure yourself to always feeling like you’re not as good as they are. I don’t know about you, but when I start to compare myself to others, I immediately feel defeated. It’s like a dark cloud of torment hovers over my head chanting lies and waiting for me to give in. I’m no longer in a place where I’m excited about my own creative space or even giving myself credit for how far I’ve come from the starting point. Everything I’ve worked towards is swallowed up by the voice of comparison. I begin to start picking apart every detail I so carefully put together until there’s literally nothing left. Does this sound familiar? First you were defeated because you didn’t feel like what you had was good enough and then you feel defeated because you don’t have anything at all. We’ve heard it said before that comparison is the thief of joy, right? I’d like to add that it’s the inability to see value in one’s own uniqueness. If we’re constantly comparing ourselves to another person, it’s obvious we haven’t found joy in being who God created us to be. We are busy looking to the left and right sabotaging ourselves with hopes that will somehow give us the motivation we need to become the best version of ourselves. Instead, we send the message to our soul that WE ARE NOT ENOUGH.
It is safe to say that unhealthy comparison is not our friend.
If comparison is something you’ve given your mind over to, it’s time to shake it off. Let me tell you, YOU ARE ENOUGH. What you offer is good enough and who you bring into the spaces you’ve been invited into is good enough. I don’t care what the enemy tries to tell you, you’re still needed. There’s enough space for everyone to be who they were designed to be. As we move forward with God and in the things of God, I declare our joy will not be snuffed out by our lack of confidence. We will turn to our Creator to fill every void that has been revealed in our hearts. Meditate on this verse: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians2:10NASB1995

No more devaluing yourself, no more accepting the lies and word curses spoken over you.
If this message was for you, I want you to begin to see yourself as God sees you!
No more devaluing yourself, no more accepting the lies and word curses spoken over you. I love how God created us. Our uniqueness is His glory. The fact that there are no two fingerprints alike shows how mindful He was in creating us unique. Beloved, He did not make a mistake on you. There are no two people that are alike. We may have similarities, but what you bring to the table is not the same as the next person, there is room for us all. When we are followers of Christ, we lack nothing. We truly have everything we need in Him. I don’t care how long it takes you to get to your goal, don’t allow comparison to stop you, nor rob you any longer. It’s perfectly fine to acknowledge where someone else is and even to admire their growth, but you stay on your journey. Enjoy your journey and remember your worth.

THE TIMELY FAVOR OF GOD:
EMBRACING OUR MANASSEH MOMENTS
Many of you might be familiar with the notion of God's favor – His approval, acceptance, special benefits and blessings towards us, His children. However, there's an often-overlooked aspect to this favor that I've come to realize is crucial: the element of timing and its connection to a specific type of favor called Tashiuva favor. In our journey through life, we will encounter this favor, but it is up to us to cease the moment and walk in what is rightfully ours. I am here to tell you that NOW is the season of Tashiuva favor. Will you take hold of it, or will you let it pass you by?
The perspectives on favor are diverse, yet one truth remains constant – true favor comes from God. To bask in tashiuva favor, we must believe. It's a belief that transcends what our eyes can see, urging us to trust in being favored despite the tides of our circumstances. As the Bible teaches us, "As a man thinketh, so is he." This wisdom urges us to walk, talk, and think with an awareness of favor, irrespective of the challenges or past burdens we carry.
However, there's a pitfall that many of us encounter – allowing our life's events to derail us from walking in the timing of God’s favor. Such missteps can lead to missing out on pivotal experiences. In this context, I'd like to introduce the concept of our 'Manasseh' – a term I use to describe those pivotal moments or trials in our lives that are essential for reaching a higher purpose or place, much like Joseph’s experience before he fathered Manasseh. Our Manasseh is what is birthed after we go through the hardships and challenges to achieve something we otherwise wouldn't. It's about those low points, akin to Joseph’s trials, where we face opposition and loss. It's tempting to seek an easier path, avoiding these hardships. However, the truth is, skirting around these challenges only leads to a repetitive cycle of defeat. God's desire for us is to face these challenges head-on, to learn and conquer them. It's about confronting whatever that 'THING' is in our lives – be it fear, doubt, or a recurring struggle – and boldly declaring, "No, not this time." It requires recognizing the patterns of frustration and despair that surround us and choosing to stand against them. This anecdote takes me back to a story my wife, Prophetess Taryn, once shared. She spoke of a spiritual child who, after a prolonged period of unemployment, finally secured a job interview. However, just before this crucial appointment, they were suddenly overwhelmed by the urge to revisit a harmful, addictive habit they had successfully avoided for several years. This critical moment was their opportunity for Tashiuva favor, but tragically, they gave in to the temptation. As a consequence, they arrived late to the interview. It was a pivotal moment that could have marked the end of their job-hunting struggles, but their inability to resist the urge cost them dearly. Instead of confronting and overcoming this challenge, they allowed it to overpower them, ultimately losing what could have been a significant turning point in their life. As we refer to the story of Joseph and the birth of his son Manasseh, we learn that Manasseh means "cause me to forget my pain.” The birth of Manasseh is a poignant symbol of overcoming adversity. Joseph's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and faith. Despite being in the depths of despair, and taken all the way to the dungeon in the palace, Joseph remained diligent, working as if for his own father.
Joseph's circumstances, although seemingly dire, positioned him perfectly for his destiny. He was in proximity to the king, which, though it didn't seem so at the time, was exactly where he needed to be. His story teaches us that sometimes our most challenging situations are precisely where we need to be to align with our destiny. Then came a transformative day of Tashiuva favor for Joseph. In a single day, his life was turned around: he was given a wife, a prestigious job, and elevated to a high position in the palace. The birth of Manasseh signified a turning point, symbolizing the end of suffering and the beginning of a new, joyous chapter. This narrative encourages us to embrace our trials, assuring us that through these experiences, we too can 'birth our Manasseh' and leave behind our pain. The question is, have we confronted our challenges, or have we tried to circumvent them? The promise is that even through the fire, we will not be marred by the smoke. Many might wonder why certain hardships befall them. The answer lies in the belief that these challenges are not signs of something wrong, but rather indicators of being set apart for a greater purpose. This perspective shifts the focus from self-doubt to a recognition of being chosen for something special. The true measure of change and growth is often only revealed during testing times. When God's favor rests upon us, even the most difficult situations can be transformed for our good. No obstacle is too great to prevent us from fulfilling our destiny, purpose, and assignment. As we step into 2024, it's a time to reclaim what was lost and to receive a manifold return. It's a period of stepping into roles and capacities we've never assumed before – as fathers, workers, sons, husbands. Embracing the 'Now Favor', the Tashiuva favor, signifies entering a phase where we fully realize and inhabit the roles and blessings that are rightfully ours. Now is the time to command, declare and decree our Tashiuva favor.
Be Blessed.

NEW YEAR! HAPPY Dear Friends,
Joni Ames
Happy 2024!! May the Lord bless and protect and prosper you with good health and prosperity this year!
I’m thankful for you and your continued prayers, love, friendship, and support. I’ve been through a lot this past year. Thank you for helping me make it through.
When I came to stay with my daughter on October 6th, I was not sure I’d make it. But thanks to her and your prayers, the doctor says I’m 75% better than I was! Praise Jesus!
To top it off, I got Covid and acute bronchitis and was very sick with that for the past month! NEVER ask what else could happen! Anyhow, travel or not, I still have expenses. My apartment rent back home, car payment, car insurance, cellphone, etc. Plus doctor visits and prescriptions and other expenses where I’m at. So I’m so thankful for those who have sent anything at all to help support me financially during this time. So here’s where I am at now… For those who don’t know, I developed an infection into the lower regions of my back into the sweaty area of the butt area due to diabetes and blood pressure issues. Also kidney issues. It was as if I’d sat in a hot fire. Area covered in huge rash that looked and felt like I’d sat on burning logs and been cooked. Very painful. I’ve had three months of severe pain and getting the area scraped off every two weeks to build new, healthy skin. Couldn’t sit, have had to lay on my side mostly. Couldn’t travel at all. Going through this process has certainly given me greater empathy for others with chronic pain. I still have a lot of pain and am not able to travel yet, but thankfully am much improved. Thank God for my nurse daughter who sensed the need to scoop me up and bring me here to get medical treatment and take care of me.
I am still going through scraping treatments every two weeks. That is painful, but I’m enduring. The doctor has managed to help get the diabetes and blood pressure under control. I just had blood work done and we will see what it says about the kidney functions. Please pray things get better and better. I have forced myself to get up and move around and do things in spite of the pain. I’ve made myself go to the dinner table instead of getting served in my room. Did my laundry. Cleaned the bathroom I use. Have consequently improved enough to be sitting up more instead of just laying down and have even begun writing again. This month I hope to get back to doing some teaching and things live online. Sometimes you just have to pressure yourself to not feel sorry for yourself and rot, ya know!
My book publication was brought to a halt due to all of the above. But I’m praying to get it back on track soon.
Last year was one thing after another. A fall in April where my back was injured. A spider bite. Then all of this.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Thank you again for your love and prayers and friendship. Meanwhile my life is more of a faith walk than ever and I’m thankful for the support of those who feel led to help financially in this season. If you’re interested in doing so, information is below.
Thank you again for being there!
Love & blessings, Joni

And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
Mark 4:16-17
The year of open doors is upon us. As we pray and meditate on what is to come to pass this year, let us also prepare our hearts to apply wisdom in every moment. In Proverbs 4:7, God’s Word tells us that getting Wisdom is the principal thing. By this understanding, we know that gaining wisdom is the most important and fundamental approach that should direct our choices in 2024. As we press toward the mark of the high calling of God, each of our hearts will take center stage and be put on display. The focus will be on the ground of our heart and the atmosphere of humility that surrounds it (or the lack thereof). To create humility, God supplies us with His Word and sows it into our hearts as seeds. The seed of the Word of God holds the power to develop an atmosphere that humbles our ground. The genesis, or original state, of the ground of the heart determines if a seed grows and becomes fruitful or forfeits its harvest. The manifestation of God’s will in our lives will be insistent on this ground and therefore God Himself will test it. God said He came and sowed the Word on stony ground, and those who heard the Word, immediately received it with gladness, (Mark 4:16). During Life Church services, we shout “I Receive!” because we are happy that God will do something marvelous in our lives. We honestly believe that what God spoke will come to pass. But there is a condition, a heart-condition, to truly receive what God has for us. In Mark, Chapter 4, Jesus continues to tell us that those who received the Word sown with gladness had no root in themselves. The root is the part of the heart that supports and nourishes the seed. It lives in humble ground, free from pride, selfishness, and greed. But the same ones that received the seed would only endure for a time. Because they are immediately offended after any affliction or persecution comes to them, for the Word’s sake. What does this tell us? An offended heart is a stony heart and if our heart is stony, there is no good ground for God’s Word to create new beginnings in our lives. Family, we have officially crossed over. It is now 2024. Our hearts should not be stuck in 1994. We have received prophetic instruction, but we cannot properly move on it if we are wounded by the very persecution that comes to test the strength of the Word in us. Offense comes when we question the validity of what God said (or who He sent to help us). We become distressed believers in a split second. But I am here to encourage you that the tests will only come for the Word that was spoken over your life. I am here to tell you that even if your heart is stony, do not fret. God says that He will give you a new heart, (Ezekiel 36:26). When our hearts fail us, the Word says that God is the strength of our heart, and our portion forever, (Psalm 73:26). If we cultivate, which means to prepare and develop, the necessary ground of humility, we will pass the test of affliction. Remember, that God loves you and wants the absolute best for you. Now it is time to ensure the success of God’s Word in your life. No more wilderness. No more cycles. The year 2024 will be a year of no fear. Armor yourselves with a heart of humility and watch what God will do!

A Prophetic Word of
in 2024
As you step into 2024, it's time to walk confidently through the open doors leading to the Promised Land that God has prepared for you. This year calls for a different heart and a different spirit. Like Joshua and Caleb believed and trusted God when walking into their Promise land, you too, must trust in God's promises to claim your inheritance. You are called to believe in and act upon the covenant rights bestowed upon you to see the promises of God manifest in your life. Joshua and Caleb, two of the twelve spies sent by Moses to scout the Promised Land, stand out for their exceptional faith and bravery.
While others saw giants and insurmountable challenges, Joshua and Caleb saw opportunity and divine assurance. Their story is a testament to the power of faith and the rewards of perseverance.
In 2024, you must know your covenant rights.
You must know and believe your covenant rights. You must decree and declare on behalf of the Lord.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and a light shall shine upon thy ways.
You must know the covenant right you have to do miracles, signs, and wonders.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
You must know the covenant right you have to work with the angels.
Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.
You must know the covenant right you have of God working in you.
You must know that you can establish a thing and you can decree, and you can declare.
You have to start talking ferociously to things that are talking to you. You have to talk to those uncircumcised philistines and remind them of who your God is. You have to operate not by sight, but by faith in the Lord. God is the one making it to come to pass, so when you trust confidently in Him, you will see what He says, and it will manifest. You must see it and believe it. There will be a distinctive difference between you and others. As soon as Joshua and Caleb crossed over into the promise land, the manna that sustained them for 40 years in the wilderness ceased. Before, you were living day by day, paycheck to check, barely making enough or just enough to get by. In 2024, you will not live check to check. You will not be robbing Peter to pay Paul. In 2024, you will not live with just enough. You will have overflow and open doors in 2024.
In 2024, God wants to give you instructions and directions
As Joshua and the Israelites crossed over into the promise land, they had to follow instructions.
God gave Joshua a unique and faith-testing instruction as they approach the formidable walls of Jericho. This command, steeped in divine wisdom and requiring unwavering trust, was for Joshua and the Israelites to march around the city of Jericho once a day for six days. On the seventh day, they were instructed to circle the walls seven times. This act of obedience, seemingly illogical in military tactics, was a profound test of faith and reliance on God's promise. It highlights a key theme in the story: that success and victory often come through adherence to divine instructions, even when it defies conventional wisdom. This episode stands as a testament to the power of faith and the importance of following divine direction in the face of daunting challenges. (Joshua 6:1-27)
God wants to give you instructions and direction.
There have been walls that have been blocking you from your blessings.
In 2024, the walls that have been blocking you from your blessings shall fall. God is giving you what He promised you. You are going to see such a move of God. Remember He said that “I am the God that fights for you. You are not in this fight alone and you are not in this situation alone. Stop acting like you’re alone. Miracles will happen. There is miracles that come along with possessing what God has for you. I know that there are walls in the way, hurdles in the way and things that have happened, but they will fall down.
In 2024, you will be doing and demonstrating God’s power
Your family will see a different light in you.
You will begin to guide them and direct them.
You will have warning before destruction.
The spirit of God will give you dreams.
The bible says ... In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumbering upon the bed; Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from men (Job 33:15-18) God wants to give you instructions and direction. He wants to prosper you and not to harm you and he wants to be your protector. God is sending his angels; he is performing miracles so that you can see that His promises will come to pass. As you step into 2024, determine to let go of all restraints and beliefs that will keep you from believing God. This is your year! God’s promises will manifest in your life. Trust, believe and rely on Him and you too, will walk into your promised land this year. Prophetess Taryn N. Tarver - Bishop

PURCHASE AT WWW.LIFELINETNT.ORG/SHOP LIFE CHURCH LIMITED EDITION MERCH
AVOIDING CALAMITY IN 2024 The Mercy of God is real - Every time mercy is mentioned, somebody has to die. To carry and experience mercy next year - you need to read this message. Hebrews 9:12 says -“...By his blood, Jesus entered in once into the holy place obtaining redemption for us.” The Bible says - Let us approach the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy in our time of need. Mercy cannot be given unless someone takes a fall for us. God cannot be a perfect Judge if He sweeps things under the rug, because then He would not be a covenant-keeping God and a God that does not keep His word. God is a just God who cannot let you off the hook no matter how much He loves you. No matter how amazing and good He is, which He is, He cannot let you off the hook when you mess up. That’s why the devil became an accuser of the brethren because he knew God had to uphold certain standards. The wages of sin is death. No matter how powerful God is, it’s His word and He has to value His Word. He enforced everything with His Word. He is the word and everything for God is by His word. Thank the Lord Jesus, the price has been paid by Jesus, Romans 8:32 says “He did not spare his son.” He loves you. Jesus loves you because someone had to die in your place. God is not emotional about you, but God declared that He loved men only when Jesus gave His life. Everyone paid a price including David, and Abraham, who was loved so much by God. Everything we have through Jesus is free for us, but it wasn’t free for Jesus. He paid full price for it. That’s why you are bought with a price. It was costly but free for us. You are bought at a price. Jesus paid the FULL price for us. Blessings are different. Yes, for the blessing of Salvation and healing, Christ paid the price, but there are certain things, you have to do something for something to happen. A curse does not work without a cause, it only works if you messed up. God visits the generational curse for 4 generations. The beginning of breaking curses is repentance. Satan is not the giver of the Curse; he just takes advantage of you for disobeying the law. That is why Daniel repents in Babylon for his fathers, because of their sins, he repented and fasted for 21 days to know when he would leave this place. The Bible says A Curse does not work without a cause Proverbs 26:2, everything is falling on the head of Jesus, but it’s for free for us. There is a way to secure yourself and your family in 2024. There is no voice louder in the spirit than the voice of sacrifices. God does not ignore sacrifices. God can ignore prayer, but He rarely ignores sacrifice. The thing that has the highest value in spirit is sacrifice. Job 1:5 says, “And it was so when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, it may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.” Job regularly offered burnt sacrifices for his children's well-being, concerned that they might have unknowingly sinned. Despite his confidence in their good behavior, he wanted to ensure they were safe against any unintentional offenses against God.
A sacrifice has a more important voice. If your heart and thought process is wrong, then giving becomes useless. Always give prayerfully. You're praying and giving will come to God as a memorial, not fasting. Heaven did not consider Cornelius’s fasting; his offering validated his words. The reason why Job never complained about his children before God when they died is because he secured them. If anything goes wrong, he will not lose the souls of his children, he knows what happened to him was an act of God and not of Satan. He never credited anything to Satan, that's why he says the Lord gives and He takes away, because he knows what he has done to secure his family, only God can override it, and Satan cannot do anything.
RYour tithe is not your seed. Your tithe sustains what you have. When you tithe, you sustain 90% of that dimension and God sustains you where you are at. You seed to the ventures you want, to get that increase, your level increases when your seed is harvested, and when the harvest happens, you have to increase your tithe as well. Faith matters not your pocket - all of these things work because of your faith not because of your pocket. If your faith wavers while making a sacrifice, then you just canceled what you did. You can’t buy anything by giving. Next year be spiritually strategic. Your transaction needs to be just with GOD. Grab a sacrifice for 2024 - a sacrifice is always painful. God blesses the work of your hands. Giving does not reap. You don't receive something because you gave, you have to be working on something. You pray- I am working on this or that business, or career, now you are seeding towards that when you give, you planted something that will be harvested, and when that harvest comes, your tithe needs to change, if the harvest comes, and you enjoy it, you will have nothing to sustain you anymore. When the increase comes, your giving should also increase. Offering is Thanksgiving. Saying thank you to God. A seed has an agenda. A seed is going towards a thing you are working on - you seed according to what you want!!!! A seed is a sacrifice. This is what a sacrifice does. Jesus consumed all your sins and problems by sacrificing Himself. By Him being sacrificed, His chastisement pleased God. God consumed the sacrifice of Jesus as a sweet-smelling aroma. God is great, and He has the power to destroy sin once and for all. That is why the Bible says it is better to give than to receive. Just receiving does not make you prosperous. The place of sacrifice should be the best you can do. The only you know the faith you possess is to look at how you give because it's a sacrifice. Remember it’s about your faith and not your pocket. When you give, give it prayerfully and pray for your seed. Your faith will determine what you will pull out of your pocket, not your pocket will determine your faith. Work like it all depends on you and pray like it all depends on God. That is why giving is a problem. When you give - you give your problems that by grace your problems are destroyed. In simple terms, when it comes to sacrifices, it's more about the faith behind your offering than the amount you give. Your faith, not your wealth, should guide your giving. It's important to give thoughtfully and pray over your sacrifice, trusting that through faith and God's grace, your problems can be overcome. In 2024, give sacrificially to secure you, your family and any calamity that may come.
What have you done prayerfully to secure aspects of your family?
The Bible says charity covers a multitude of sins. Charity is translated to love, and anyone who has love must act because love is a verb. For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son. The act of love is an act of charity to do selfless things. The Bible says, a charitable person - covers a multitude of sins. A lot of things will be spared because of the sacrificial acts that have been done. In Isaiah 38:1-5 - Hezekiah said - Remember how he has lived and what he has done. He says he walks in full truth and with a perfect heart. That wasn't enough. He then says HE HAS DONE WHAT IS RIGHT. Truth has been my portion. Anyone who speaks the truth will live a long life, the moment he says “Remember what I have done.” All of a sudden God says you are spared for 15 more years, because of his giving. aise an altar for your family to avert any kind of calamity that may come just in case we step the wrong way. Your family will be secure. Always look for a way to give sacrificially if you want something to change or something to happen. You won't have to fast and pray for things to change or for a certain door to open. If you do fast and pray - it will only be for your intimacy with God. The Bible says in Hebrews 7:8 - “And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.” God receives in heaven, but it depends on who you are giving to. Do they stand in the presence of God? You need to be careful what ministry you are sowing into.
For 2024, grab something that is a sacrifice to you.
Prophet Lovy l. Elias revelation church la
Challenge yourself to give. Sacrifice is always painful and will always cost you. There is no act of love unless there is a sacrifice.

Endo- metriosis? LaChune Price, MPAS, PA-C WHAT IS
Endometriosis (en-doe-me-tree-O-sis) is an often-painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial-like tissue may be found beyond the area where pelvic organs are located. With endometriosis, the endometrial-like tissue acts as endometrial tissue would — it thickens, breaks down and bleeds with each menstrual cycle. But because this tissue has no way to exit your body, it becomes trapped. When endometriosis involves the ovaries, cysts called endometriomas may form. Surrounding tissue can become irritated, eventually developing scar tissue and adhesions — bands of fibrous tissue that can cause pelvic tissues and organs to stick to each other. Endometriosis — sometimes severe — especially during menstrual periods. Fertility problems also may develop. Fortunately, effective treatments are available. can cause pain
SYMPTOMS The primary symptom of endometriosis is pelvic pain, often associated with menstrual periods. Although many experience cramping during their menstrual periods, those with endometriosis typically describe menstrual pain that's far worse than usual. Pain also may increase over time.
Common signs and symptoms of endometriosis include:
Painful periods (dysmenorrhea). Pelvic pain and cramping may begin before and extend several days into a menstrual period. You may also have lower back and abdominal pain. Pain with intercourse. Pain during or after sex is common with endometriosis. Pain with bowel movements or urination. You're most likely to experience these symptoms during a menstrual period. Excessive bleeding. You may experience occasional heavy menstrual periods or bleeding between periods (intermenstrual bleeding). Infertility. Sometimes, endometriosis is first diagnosed in those seeking treatment for infertility. Other signs and symptoms. You may experience fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, bloating or nausea, especially during menstrual periods. CAUSES Although the exact cause of endometriosis is not certain, possible explanations include: Retrograde menstruation. In retrograde menstruation, menstrual blood containing endometrial cells flows back through the fallopian tubes and into the pelvic cavity instead of out of the body. These endometrial cells stick to the pelvic walls and surfaces of pelvic organs, where they grow and continue to thicken and bleed over the course of each menstrual cycle. Transformation of peritoneal cells. In what's known as the "induction theory," experts propose that hormones or immune factors promote transformation of peritoneal cells — cells that line the inner side of your abdomen — into endometrial-like cells. Embryonic cell transformation. Hormones such as estrogen may transform embryonic cells — cells in the earliest stages of development — into endometrial-like cell implants during puberty. Surgical scar implantation. After a surgery, such as a hysterectomy or C-section, endometrial cells may attach to a surgical incision. Endometrial cell transport. The blood vessels or tissue fluid (lymphatic) system may transport endometrial cells to other parts of the body. Immune system disorder. A problem with the immune system may make the body unable to recognize and destroy endometrial-like tissue that's growing outside the uterus.

RISK FACTORS
Several factors
place you at greater risk of developing endometriosis
RISK FACTORS
D I AGNOS I S
To diagnose endometriosis and other conditions that can cause pelvic pain, your doctor will ask you to describe your symptoms, including the location of your pain and when it occurs. Tests to check for physical clues of endometriosis include: Pelvic exam. During a pelvic exam, your doctor manually feels (palpates) areas in your pelvis for abnormalities, such as cysts on your reproductive organs or scars behind your uterus. Often, it's not possible to feel small areas of endometriosis unless they've caused a cyst to form. Ultrasound. This test uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the inside of your body. To capture the images, a device called a transducer is either pressed against your abdomen or inserted into your vagina (transvaginal ultrasound). Both types of ultrasounds may be done to get the best view of the reproductive organs. A standard ultrasound imaging test won't definitively tell your doctor whether you have endometriosis, but it can identify cysts associated with endometriosis (endometriomas). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). An MRI is an exam that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within your body. For some, an MRI helps with surgical planning, giving your surgeon detailed information about the location and size of endometrial implants. Laparoscopy. In some cases, your doctor may refer you to a surgeon for a procedure that allows the surgeon to view inside your abdomen (laparoscopy). While you're under general anesthesia, your surgeon makes a tiny incision near your navel and inserts a slender viewing instrument (laparoscope), looking for signs of endometrial tissue outside the uterus.
Never giving birth Starting your period at an early age Going through menopause at an older age Short menstrual cycles — for instance, less than 27 days Heavy menstrual periods that last longer than seven days Having higher levels of estrogen in your body or a greater lifetime exposure to estrogen your body produces Low body mass index One or more relatives (mother, aunt or sister) with endometriosis Any medical condition that prevents the passage of blood from the body during menstrual periods Disorders of the reproductive tract Endometriosis usually develops several years after the onset of menstruation (menarche). Signs and symptoms of endometriosis may temporarily improve with pregnancy and may go away completely with menopause unless you're taking estrogen.
COMPLICATIONS: INFERTILITY
Fertilization and implantation The main complication of endometriosis is impaired fertility. Approximately one-third to one-half of women with endometriosis have difficulty getting pregnant. For pregnancy to occur, an egg must be released from an ovary, travel through the neighboring fallopian tube, become fertilized by a sperm cell and attach itself to the uterine wall to begin development. Endometriosis may obstruct the tube and keep the egg and sperm from uniting. But the condition also seems to affect fertility in less-direct ways, such as by damaging the sperm or egg. Cancer Ovarian cancer does occur at higher-than-expected rates in those with endometriosis. But the overall lifetime risk of ovarian cancer is low to begin with. Some studies suggest that endometriosis increases that risk, but it's still relatively low. Although rare, another type of cancer — endometriosis-associated adenocarcinoma — can develop later in life in those who have had endometriosis.

ENDOMETRIOSIS TREATMENT: Health Spotlight:
Progestin therapy. A variety of progestin therapies, including an intrauterine device with levonorgestrel (Mirena, Skyla), contraceptive implant (Nexplanon), contraceptive injection (Depo-Provera), or progestin pill (Camila), can halt menstrual periods, and the growth of endometrial implants, which may relieve endometriosis signs and symptoms. Aromatase inhibitors are a class of medicines that reduce the amount of estrogen in your body. Your doctor may recommend an aromatase inhibitor along with a progestin or combination hormonal contraceptive to treat endometriosis. Aromatase inhibitors. Conservative surgery If you have endometriosis and are trying to become pregnant, surgery to remove the endometriosis implants while preserving your uterus and ovaries (conservative surgery) may increase your chances of success. If you have severe pain from endometriosis, you may also benefit from surgery — however, endometriosis and pain may return.
Treatment for endometriosis usually involves medication or surgery. The approach you and your doctor choose will depend on how severe your signs and symptoms are and whether you hope to become pregnant. Pain medication Your doctor may recommend that you take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) or naproxen sodium (Aleve) to help ease painful menstrual cramps. Your doctor may recommend hormone therapy in combination with pain relievers if you're not trying to get pregnant.
Hormone therapy
Supplemental hormones are sometimes effective in reducing or eliminating the pain of endometriosis. The rise and fall of hormones during the menstrual cycle causes endometrial implants to thicken, break down and bleed. Hormone medication may slow endometrial tissue growth and prevent new implants of endometrial tissue. Hormone therapy isn't a permanent fix for endometriosis. You could experience a return of your symptoms after stopping treatment.
Fertility treatment
Endometriosis can lead to trouble conceiving. If you're having difficulty getting pregnant, your doctor may recommend fertility treatment supervised by a fertility specialist. Fertility treatment ranges from stimulating your ovaries to make more eggs to in vitro fertilization. Which treatment is right for you depends on your personal situation.
Therapies used to treat endometriosis include:
Hormonal contraceptives. Birth control pills, patches, and vaginal rings help control the hormones responsible for the buildup of endometrial tissue each month. Many have lighter and shorter menstrual flow when they're using a hormonal contraceptive. Using hormonal contraceptives — especially continuous- cycle regimens — may reduce or eliminate pain in some cases.

1 Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering" (NKJV).
As a stylist with 21 years of experience, I have to say the primary questions I receive and the main challenge I face are always about hair growth and hair loss. These two topics are like Siamese twins; everyone desires hair growth, usually in response to some type of loss. Hair loss occurs for various reasons, but I want to focus on two key internal deficiencies that cause hair loss and impede hair growth. During consultations with my clients, whether new or returning, I always pose two vital questions that determine the long-term overall health of their hair:
Let's explore each deficiency individually to see how, when both are low in the body, severe hair loss is inevitable.
How does iron deficiency cause hair loss?
Low iron levels have been linked to a condition called telogen effluvium, which leads to increased hair shedding and stalled hair growth. The combination of these two things results in hair thinning and more noticeable hair loss. Hair follicles cycle through three phases to grow hair: - Anagen phase: This is the active phase of hair growth, where the follicle is making hair. - Catagen phase: This is the transition phase, where hair stops growing. - Telogen phase: This is the rest phase, where your hair strand falls out, and the hair follicle stops forming hair for a few months Each hair follicle operates on its timeline as it goes through these cycles, preventing all the hair on your head from falling out at once.
- What is in your hair? - When was the last time you had a physical?
Can you guess which question they have no answer for? If you guessed, "When was the last time you had a physical?" you are correct! Once I establish that they have not had one or don't recall the date of their last physical, I delve into iron deficiencies (anemia) and Vitamin D deficiencies. Individually, these deficiencies cause hair loss, and if you suffer from both, it can lead to severe hair loss. This significantly impacts the long-term health of the hair. As a stylist, I am limited to topical solutions that stimulate growth, whether it be products or tools. However, this is akin to putting a bandaid on something that requires much more.

However, certain medical conditions, like iron deficiency, can push hair follicles into the telogen phase. When more hair follicles enter the resting phase simultaneously, hair falls out but doesn't grow back in, leading to hair thinning and more noticeable hair loss. Remember, a medical expert, such as a doctor, is best equipped to help you find the information and care you need. This information does not constitute medical advice or diagnosis. Vitamin D deficiency can cause hair loss because low levels of vitamin D can lead to an insufficient supply of cells. Vitamin D receptors play a role in the anagen phase of the hair follicle cycle, the phase when new hairs grow from the follicle to their full length.
1 Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering" (NKJV). These products and vitamins are my personal clientele favorites; keep in mind there are millions of products and vitamins available. If what I am mentioning is not available where you are, google “products similar to xy&z.”
Scalp stimulators are excellent but they do pose a problem; the liquid is water-based. Because of this, I encourage these to be used the 2nd week for straight and silk-pressed styles and often while wearing braids or protective styles.

Vitamin D deficiency is also associated with scarring alopecia and male pattern baldness.
So, how can you tell if you suffer from one or both of these deficiencies? Make your annual physical appointment and ask your General Practitioner to test not only for iron levels but also for vitamin D. I do not believe in self-diagnosis or relying on past testing results; with age, diet, and stress levels, things change. This is why physicals are done annually. It is the top of the year; let's begin it right. So next, I want to get into my favorite hair care products and the most popular vitamins that my clients invest in for their skin, hair, and nail health. These 3 shampoo and conditioner sets are part of my back bar product suite at the salon. One of the reasons I love having a rotation of 3 is so that the body does not become used to one individual product, but the most important reason is due to availability. After COVID, product shortages and discontinuations became a real thing. If I only had one product that I knew of and used, I would be limited as a stylist. Each set is great and provides real results, but I mix the conditioners with a rich hydrating conditioner because African American hair generally requires more moisture than these conditioners alone offer. The shampoo is used after my first shampoo that is cleansing; I want to be sure that the hair is clean of product buildup so the specialty shampoo can penetrate and nourish the scalp and hair.

Vitamins can be tricky, especially if you already take medication, have a sensitive stomach, and or are pregnant. Consulting your general Dr. is always my advice before incorporating a new vitamin into your diet. These are client favorites; if you can’t take pills, gummies are the go-to and they taste good too. Just like the shampoo and conditioner, I encourage a rotation about every two months to switch to a different brand. This keeps your body guessing and gives maximum benefit in my opinion.
