Habits to have this
Happy New Year! Yay, we are in a new year, and it is very exciting! As you walk into this year, here are 5 habits to have:
3. Read 1 new book a week:
a. "I Am, I Can: 365 Affirmations for Kids" by Wynne Kinder. b. "Growth Mindset Workbook for Kids: 55 Fun Activities to Think Creatively, Solve Problems, and Love Learning" by Peyton Curley. c. "The ABCs Of Self Love" by Melody Godfred. d. "My Reading and Writing Kit: More Sounds and Blending" by Ruth Miskin. e. "The Bible Made Easy for Kids" by David Strehler.
1. Have good hygiene:
a. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. b. Take a shower/bath (don’t forget to wash your hair). c. Put on deodorant. d. Wash your hands before you eat or after each time you use the bathroom or touch something dirty. e. Wear clean clothes. f. Brush and untangle your hair (ask parents for help!).
4. Eat and Drink healthy choices:

i. Water. ii. Milk. iii. Watermelon juice. iv. Coconut water. v. Oat milk/Almond milk.
i. Green vegetables - spinach, mixed greens, broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, green beans. ii. Chicken breast. iii. Fish - salmon, tilapia, cod, tuna. iv. Fruit - apples, oranges, bananas, all berries, watermelon. v. Snacks - whole grain crackers.
2. Physically exercise:
a. Ride a bike. b. Jog. c. Swim (Ask parents first). d. Play sports (Basketball, soccer, volleyball).
5. Say 5 nice things about yourself every day:
a. I am wise. b. I am a millionaire.
c. I am strong. d. I am worthy. e. I am powerful.
