The aloe vera plant has been used for medicinal and skin care purposes for centuries. Because the ingredients in aloe are less irritating than other acne treatments on the market, it can remove bacteria from your skin and even reduce the risk of acne. Here are some ways to use aloe to prevent and treat acne. Use the plant itself. If you have mild to moderate acne, using aloe is a gentle way to soothe your skin. If you have the plant, you can rip off a tiny portion of the thick leaves to access the powerful gel. If you don’t have the plant, a tube of aloe will work just fine! For existing acne, you can apply aloe to pimples or zits and leave it on overnight. You can also use aloe to replace your daily face cleanser. Simply apply the gel to your face, massage it into your skin, then wash it off. You will notice a cooling sensation and soothing effect on your skin. Create a face mask. Combine aloe, honey, and cinnamon to create your very own face mask. Studies have shown that honey and cinnamon are other ingredients that help kill acne-causing bacteria, so using these three together is like a triple threat. Start with 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of pure aloe, and 1/4 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. your face. Keep the mask on for at least 5–10 minutes, then thoroughly wash it off.

Make your own face scrub. Add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera to a clean container and mix in 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 3 tablespoons of white or brown sugar. Mix the ingredients and apply them to your face like a cleanser, then gently wash off your face. The grains of the sugar will remove dead layers of skin, while the coconut oil and aloe will fight acne. However, you should only use this scrub once or twice a week, as overuse can cause skin irritation. These aloe vera treatments will help your skin stay radiant and acne-free without a hefty price tag. Who knew this popular house plant had all of these great benefits?
