The Role As a new school we are looking for a successful, experienced leader who has previously worked in special education at Deputy Head or Headteacher level. The prospective Headteacher will understand that the leadership and management of the school will encompass a range of processes which contribute to outstanding pupil outcomes. They must also work in partnership with the Head of Care (Registered Manager) for the children’s home.
No two days will be the same but the main responsibilities will always include:
Meeting pupils’ specials needs and personal development Promoting positive outcomes Keeping children and staff safe Staff development, motivation and resilience Working with finance teams to manage the school roll and budget Meeting education and care regulatory requirements Working collaboratively with parents, carers and local authorities. This is an amazing opportunity to develop and lead a new school. Effectively, this means that you will be shaping the school’s culture and ethos, moulding it into an outstanding provision that will seek out innovative ways to teach and develop children with additional needs. You will be supported by our Head Office team which includes, recruitment, HR, health and safety, quality assurance, sales and marketing, IT, payroll, finance and transport.
