Industry professional to also lead Tempco Glass Fabrication sales Gamco Corporation welcomes Biskup as new sales director

In addition to guiding the expansion and sales growth of Gamco Corporation, Mr. Biskup is responsible for lead- ing outside sales for Gamco’s sister company, Tempco Glass Fabrication, a growing region- al glass processing operation.
Both Gamco and Tempco are headquartered in Flushing, Queens, in New York City. “Marty is a valuable addi- tion to the Gamco-Tempco team, with his expertise in the building and property man- agement field,” said Johnson Chen , general manager for Gamco and Tempco. “The com- panies are moving to the next level of technical service and product offerings, andMarty is a key contributor for strategy development, market penetra- tion, brandmanagement, sales growth, and customer rela- tions. His extensive knowledge
of building design, glass prod- ucts, and consultative sales complements our fabrication and design expertise, allowing us to serve our customers in greater ways.” Prior to joining the Gamco- Tempco team, Biskup was regional sales leader for AGC Glass North America, respon- sible for business development and sales throughout Metro New York and New England. Biskup was regional sales representative at General Glass International (GGI), for electrochromic coated and other specialty glass products,
consulting with architects and contractors in the North- east. He gained broad experi- ence in building product sales with Lafarge North America and HH Robertson Company. Biskup developed and ex- panded markets for structural skylight systems, façades, and interiors with Guardian In- dustries and Skytech Systems, where he was national com- mercial product marketing & sales manager. Biskup is a US Green Building Council LEED Green Associate and holds a bachelor’s degree in Facility Planning, Design and Building Programming fromPenn State University. The LiRo Group Promotes Malicki to vice president SYOSSET, NY — The LiRo Group , a national project and construction management, keting department. Malicki is responsible for managing LiRo’s marketing program, including the devel- opment and production of pro- posals, business development activities, advertising, client presentations, and strategic communications and market- ing initiatives. She joined LiRo in 2001 as marketing coordinator. Malicki’s previous title was associate vice president. Prior to LiRo, she had been the di- rector of research at Adelphi University, conducting grant research on alternative energy sources. LiRo’s current and recent projects in New York City and in the greater New York area include the $10.2 billion East Side Access Long Island Rail Road expansion; the $30 mil- lion restoration of Pier A and the $12 million SeaGlass Car- ousel in Battery Park; the $60 million CUNY School of Archi- tecture; $180 million worth of projects at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, includ- ing the National Synchrotron Light Source II and the $228.5 million High Line Park.
