DIRECTIONS: Trim some of the fat of the lamb and score the remaining fat. Mix the glaze ingredients togeth- er and brush over the lamb. Put the lamb on a roasting rack. The bone ends may be covered with foil to protect them during the cooking. Cook onmedium for 10 minutes. Raise the setting to high and cook for 5 min- utes, basting often during the whole of the cooking time. Leave to stand 5 minutes before carving. Cook for 20 minutes on the combination setting of a microwave convection oven until the fat has browned. Mix the beans, wine, onions, thyme, salt and pepper together and cook 4 minutes on high. Reheat any remaining glaze and pour over the lamb. Serve with the beans.
