She holds a Masters in Mass Communication and Post- Graduation Diploma in Corporate Communications & Business Journalism. She is a self-motivated and a versatile professional and enjoys experimenting with various cuisines. She enjoys travelling and spending time with family.
Parinita joined our SLND Family on 13th March 2023. She has about 11 years of experience and has worked with Hotel brands like Taj Mahal New Delhi, Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, Hyatt Regency Delhi & Alila Fort Bishangarh. In her last assignment, she was working with Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity as Director – Marketing & Communications.

Lohri
Lohri is a popular harvest festival celebrated primarily in North India, particularly in the states of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. The festival marks the end of the winter season and the beginning of the harvest season.
SLND celebrated Lohri on 13th January 2023, with much enthusiasm and delight. Colleagues enjoyed delicious snacks and tea and the festivities were accompanied by traditional bonfire and music.
Republic Day
India's Republic Day is celebrated on 26th January every year to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and the country's transition to becoming a sovereign republic. This day holds immense significance for every Indian, and it is celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm across the country.
The celebration in SLND started with the hoisting of the Indian flag, which was followed by the national anthem.
“A Woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” On March 8, 2023, we celebrated Women's Day. The delight and pride that they felt made us the happiest, and we are grateful to have each and every one of them as a part of our SLND Family.
On March 8, 2023, we celebrated HOLI. It was made exciting by the theme meal, which was organized together with amusing music.

Introduction of Houses & Cricket Match
GDP & Launch of MOJ
The Guest Delight program was held on March 23, 2023. It was organized to felicitate the Colleagues who have gone above and beyond in providing quality service to the guests.
To mark this delightful occasion, the management organized a hi-tea and distributed certificates to its team members for their hard work and dedication.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the Moment of Joy Program, a new version of the Guest Delight Program (GDP). This program further enhances the guarantee of service excellence and a memorable experience for customers at the hotel.

We decided to revive the concept of houses from our school days and implement it in our workplace. Each house has been given a distinct name, logo, and anthem. Our Captains and Vice- Captains are leading the houses, who brainstorm and plan in hosting activities that introduce other colleagues to different aspects of life, promoting a sense of ownership and pride among them. The houses have already started to make an impact, as seen by the recent cricket match organized by the Blue Force with our Embrace Partners, Noida Deaf Society, which encouraged healthy competition and collaboration.
Cricket Match (March 01, 2023)
Four Houses (Red, Yellow, Green & Blue) participated in the Cricket match. The game began with an opening ceremony that featured a line-up of trophies, followed by discussion of rules and regulations. The teams showcased their cricketing skills during the match, with some notable performances.
Along with live viewers, we also broadcast it live in the Staff Restaurant, where the crowd enthusiastically shouted for each wicket and stroke taken. In the end, it was one team that emerged triumphant, taking home the trophy for the day which was Blue Force.
We also played with our Embraced partners I.e. members from the Noida Deaf Society.

On February 19, 2023, we joined the walk on Rajpath to show our solidarity with cancer patients and their families. We had a great time meeting people from all walks of life who had come to support the cause.
It was a heartening experience to witness so many people come together for a noble cause. We are glad to have been a small part of this wonderful event.
Noida Deaf Society
It was an absolute privilege and honor to welcome members of the Noida Deaf Society to our hotel for a cross-exposure session. Our team provided them with a glimpse into various departments, and what made this experience truly remarkable was having NDS alumni who are working with us explain everything to them.
Earth Hour
Earth Hour is an annual global event that aims to raise awareness and encourage action against climate change. During Earth Hour, people around the world turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to symbolize their commitment to protecting the planet.
Shangri-La was proud to participate in Earth Hour, not only to show our support for the cause but also to raise awareness among our guests and staff members about the importance of sustainability. During the event, we lit candles and turned off unnecessary lights to reduce energy consumption and promote eco- friendly practices.
By taking this small step towards reducing our carbon footprint, we hope to inspire others to join us in preserving the planet for future generations.

The orientation for new colleagues comprised a comprehensive introduction to our organization, featuring a luncheon with our executive committee, a tour of our property, and informative learning sessions
Fire & Life Safety Training The Fire and Life Safety Manager conducted a training session on March 24, 2023. He provided attendees with important safety techniques and knowledge to help prevent any potential emergencies. He emphasized the need to always be prepared and alert to potential fire and other safety hazards. He also demonstrated the safety protocols and equipment available to help protect guests and staff.
Shangri-La Culture Refresher Training
The refresher training session focused on understanding Shangri-La culture. It was attended by Heads of Departments and members of the Executive Committee. The session provided insight into the values and principles of the organization.
It also enabled attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the company's Purpose, Vision and Business. Ultimately, this session equipped participants with the tools to effectively represent and lead Shangri La.
The Winning teams were presented with delicious chocolates as a reward for their impressive performances.

We were honored to have hosted one of the world's most acclaimed chefs and delighted to share his exquisite culinary creations with our guests.
"Shang Palace was transformed into a seafood and Chinese culinary paradise as Chef Dharshan Munidasa from the Ministry of Crabs graced us with his presence for an exclusive five-day pop-up event from January 11, 2023 to January 14, 2023. Our guests were treated to an extraordinary dining experience as they savored Chef Dharshan's innovative and flavorful seafood creations fused with traditional Chinese cuisine.

It was a rare opportunity to experience the magic of one of the world's top chefs, and we feel privileged to have hosted such a remarkable event.
Sorrento was honored to host Michelin- starred Chef Marco Stabile for an exclusive five-day pop-up from February 01, 2023 to February 05, 2023. Our Italian restaurant was transformed into a culinary destination, with Chef Marco's specialty dishes taking center stage. It was an unforgettable dining experience that delighted food enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
