THAILAND ONE/ GOLF T1: In your opinion, what would you say are the top three must-play holes at the Thai Country Club, and why? • 6th Hole stands out as a memorable par-3, bunkers front right and a steep run off area front left of the green makes the tee shot all about accuracy. • 12th Hole, a long dog-leg right par-4, from the blue or black tees you will have to carry water with your tee shot, then you’re faced with a long second shot into the green which is protected by bunkers on the right. • 17th Hole is a great par 5 -possibly reachable in two for the longer hitters but depends on the wind. The approach shot into the green is a challenging one as there is a steep run off into water on the right side and bunkers behind the green. A par or birdie on this hole will set you up for strong finish on 18. T1: How does the club work to maintain the high standards of the course, from the quality of the greens to the overall upkeep of the facilities? Ensuring the impeccable condition of our golf course has always been and will continue to be our utmost priority at Thai Country Club. While design and layout may be subjective and based on personal preferences, we believe that maintaining the highest standards of course maintenance is non-negotiable. The clubhouse and other facilities are equally vital, and their upkeep is managed with the same level of attention to detail and care. T1: What dining and hospitality offerings are at the club, and how do they complement the golf experience for members and guests? Food & Beverage is vital part of the club's success. Once again, setting the right environment and atmosphere and then of course providing high quality food that caters to our diverse mix of members. Our main restaurant offers Thai, Japanese and Western cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a view of the 18th green and 1st fairway it is a very relaxing place to eat before of after your round. We also have private dining rooms which offer a more private fee for small groups or business meetings. Before you get to the 1st tee, you will come across the first kiosk. It has a long bar with a broad selection of food and drinks and 40 seats which overlook the lake, providing the ideal place to grab a quick snack before golf or a cold beer after. Once on the course, we have a kiosk every three holes. When its 40 degrees during the hottest time of the year, the kiosks help break up the round by offering cold towels and drinks under shade, giving you a chance to re-charge before heading out again. The Food & Beverage offerings play a crucial role in the overall success of the club. Creating the perfect ambiance and ambiance is just the beginning; serving top-quality cuisine that caters to our diverse membership is key. Our main restaurant presents a delightful array of Thai, Japanese, and Western dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all against the picturesque backdrop of the 18th green and 1st fairway, providing a serene setting for pre or post- game dining. For more intimate gatherings or business meetings, our private dining rooms offer an exclusive setting.
